synnack supporter faq
What is a "synnack supporter"?
Fans of synnack who have purchased synnack releases or merchandise are eligible to register on synnack.com and gain access to additional songs (i.e. "B-Sides"), unreleased tracks, videos, discounts on additional merchandise, and more. In order to register, you need to obtain a "regcode"
Regcodes can be obtained by:
- Buy a cd online, in a store, or at a show
- Buy synnack merchandise from synnack.com (you need a new tshirt anyway)
- Buy a synnack release online (iTunes makes you cool)
Once you register at synnack.com/register and activate your account, make sure you are logged in next time you visit synnack.com and additional content will appear for you.

Usernames
Usernames can only be numbers and letters. No special characters or spaces allowed. Usernames are used to authenticate you with the site, and in the future, will be used to identify users when the post comments on synnack.com (like a blog).
If you are having trouble registering because the form calls your email address invalid, or you never recieve the activation email, first check your "spam" filter and if still no luck, contact us and we'll add you manually.
Email Policy
Your email address is only used by the site to facilitate the "Forgot Password" feature, and to notify you when new exclusive conent is posted for supporters (of you opted in during registration). We do not bug or spam you and we never share your email address with any 3rd party

I bought my synnack release online as mp3, am I entitled to register?
Absolutely! Simply forward the confirmation email from your purchase to register@synnack.com and we'll reply with a regcode for you.
Password Policy
Passwords must contain only numbers and letters. No "special characters". Good password = 23l2k3jAl Bad password = SYNNACK!!!
Passwords are stored encrypted. We have no idea what they are. To change your password (like when you forget it or break up with a loser who knows what your passwords usually are...), click "forgot password" on the login page.
My regcode is not working!
Regcodes are a combination of numbers and letters and when printed, only appear uppercase. They are made up of 3 chunks of 4 characters such as 12AB-56CD-LJ3L
How can I be notifed when there's something new posted for supporters?
By joining the supporter mailing list during registration or monitoring the supporter RSS feed.
I have a reg code but I am having problems registering. (or) I did not get the confirmation email to activate my account

I am trying to change my password but I get an "Invalid Token" error. What does that mean?
Tokens are used by synnack.com to facilitate changing your password. When you submit your email address to reset your password, you should recieve an email containing a unique URL including your token. If you click on that link and get "Invalid Token", most likely it is because you clicked on the link 24 hours or more after the token was generated. To generate a new and valid token, submit your email address again on the forgot password page.
